The announcement of open positions for technicians in 18 new categories has been made public by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). The number of vacancies has grown from 9144 for 22 categories in the last RRB notice to 14298 for 40 categories.
As per the official announcement, a new link to apply for newly added categories and for existing candidates to modify their RRB would be active in a matter of days for fifteen days.

Educational Qualifications:
Notification of the Technician jobs for candidates who have completed their ITI in the relevant courses and their 10th grade from an accredited school, board, or university has been made public by the RRB board.
Selection Procedure:
Applicants who have previously applied for the position of RRB Technician or who plan to apply soon must pass a three-part selection process consisting of a medical exam, document verification, and computer-based testing.
Application Fee:
From the Others category, the nominees have to pay Rs.500/- and the applicants from the ST, SC, PWDS, and Transgender category have to pay Rs.250/-.
Age Criteria:
- For the Technician Grade post: 18 – 33 years
- For the Technician Grade I Signal post: 18 – 36 years.
