Educational Qualifications: Group ‘A’
- Distt. Horticulture Officer: Candidates have B.Sc. Agriculture/Horticulture degree are eligible.
- The principal of Govt. Food Science Training Centre/ Food Processing Officer: Candidates have B.Sc. Chemistry/Agriculture from a recognized University or institute with two years PG Associate Course (Fruit and Vegetable Technology) or M.Sc. Food Technology/Food Preservation/Food Science from a recognized University or institute.
Group ‘B’
- Senior Technical Assistant Agronomy Branch: Postgraduate degree in Agronomy from a recognized university or institution must graduate in Agriculture.
- Senior Technical Assistant Botany Branch: Postgraduate degree in Botany/Plant reproduction with Science of the origin or Postgraduate degree in Botany, especially in genetics or Plant reproduction, must be a graduate in Agriculture.
- Senior Technical Assistant Plant Protection: Candidates having PG degree Entomology/Plant Pathology or M.Sc. Plant Science/Entomology/Plant Pathology and must graduate in Agriculture.
- Senior Technical Assistant Chemistry Branch: Candidates having a PG degree in Agriculture Chemistry/Soil Science/Soil Conservation and is an Agriculture graduate.
- Senior Technical Assistant Development Branch: Postgraduate degree relevant to agriculture from a recognized university or institution must be a graduate in Agriculture.
Age Criteria: The age of candidates should lie between 21 years to 40 years.
Application Fee:
- For UR/EWS/OBC application fee is 125 rupees.
- For SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman application fee is 65 rupees.
- Handicapped has to pay 25 rupees.
Pay Scale: These posts are having the pay scale of ` 9300–34800/- Grade Pay` 4600/- (Revised Pay Scale Level-7 Pay matrix ` 44900-142400/-) to ` 15600-39100/- Grade Pay ` 5400/- (Revised Pay Scale ` 56100- 177500 Pay Matrix Level-10).
Selection Procedure: The selection of Group ‘A’ Posts is through written Examination (Preliminary and Mains) and Interview and Group’ B’ Post only through written Examination.
