Educational Qualifications: Candidate should have graduation degree from recognized Institute/University.
Service Eligibility: Only Head Constable/GD, Constable/GD, Constable/Tradesmen who have completed five years of regular service are eligible to apply for LDCE.
Age Criteria: The Upper age limit is set at 35 years. Age relaxation of 5 years is given to SC/ST. No age relaxation is given to the OBC category as there is no vacancy for the OBC category.
Selection Procedure: The selection process includes the following stages.
- Stage I– Checking of Service Record, Candidate should have clear and good records.
- Stage II– Written Examination, those candidates who have good service records are eligible for written Examination. Written Exam will be OMR based on 200 marks.
- Stage III– Physical Standard Test
- Stage IV– Physical Efficiency Test
- Stage V- Detailed Medical Examination
- Stage VI- Final Selection
